Welcome to my website and thank you for visiting. My name is Ben Blackburn and I am an amateur photographer living in the Riverina area of New South Wales, Australia. I have an interest in taking photographs of landcapes, birds, and my family. I also enjoy taking macro photographs of bees and other small insects and flowers.
This is my new website which I launched in October 2018. I am still adding content to it, so please bear with me whilst I build my galleries back up.
Some people may ask why have a website? I believe what is the point in taking photos if you aren’t going to show them to anyone. I know there is Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc, but this site is mine. I get to choose how to set it out and the way it looks. It also gives me a place to tell my story, to blog if you will.
On this site you will see some of my best photos, all are for sale, if you are so inclined. You will also find some information about me, my journey through life and some blog posts on anything from how I took a photo, edited a photo or a review on my camera.
For those of you who are interested, I currently use a Sony a6500 coupled with several lenses including a Sony E 16-70mm f/4 for landscapes and portraits, Sony FE 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 for bird photography,Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro and FE 70-200mm f/4. Feel free to let me know what you think of my photos and my site.
Please see the menus above to navigate around.
Thanks again for visiting.
